Content Review Policy (CRP)

Content Review Policy (CRP) – National Power Training Institute (NPTI) Website

The Content Review Policy (CRP) establishes a structured framework to ensure that all information available on the NPTI website is accurate, updated, relevant, and compliant with Government of India guidelines. Regular review of content is necessary to maintain the credibility and reliability of the website.

1. Objective

  • To ensure that the content published on the NPTI website is current, factual, and useful for stakeholders.
  • To systematically identify and remove outdated, redundant, or irrelevant content.
  • To maintain the website as a trusted and authoritative source of information about NPTI’s activities, programs, and functions.

2. Scope

The policy applies to all content categories on the NPTI website, including:

  • Training programs and schedules
  • Notifications, circulars, and office orders
  • Recruitment advertisements and tender notices
  • Policies, guidelines, and publications
  • Organizational information (About Us, Roles, Functions, Who’s Who)
  • Contact details of officials and divisions

3. Review Frequency

  • All content must be reviewed once every three months (quarterly).
  • Critical content (e.g., tenders, recruitment, training programs) will be reviewed on a real-time or monthly basis, as these are time-sensitive.
  • Emergency updates (such as changes in key contact details, organizational structure, or urgent announcements) must be incorporated within 48 hours of notification.

4. Review Process

  1. Departmental Review: Each NPTI department/division will review the content it owns and submit corrections/updates to the Web Information Manager (WIM).
  2. WIM Moderation: The WIM will check submissions for accuracy, formatting, language, and compliance with guidelines.
  3. Approval: The reviewed and moderated content will be sent to the Director General, NPTI (or designated approving authority) for clearance.
  4. Implementation: After approval, the website administrator will publish the updated content and remove or re-archive outdated material.

5. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Content Contributors (Departments/Divisions): Regularly review and provide updated content.
  • Web Information Manager (WIM): Coordinate review cycles, moderate submissions, and ensure compliance.
  • Approving Authority (Director General/Authorized Officer): Give final approval before publishing reviewed content.
  • Website Administrator (Technical Team): Implement changes and maintain version control.

6. Compliance & Audit

  • A quarterly review report will be prepared by the WIM and submitted to the Director General, NPTI.
  • Logs of all reviewed, updated, and removed content will be maintained for transparency.
  • Non-compliance or delays in review will be escalated to higher authorities.

7. Policy Review

  • This CRP will itself be reviewed once a year to accommodate changes in government website policies, organizational needs, or technological updates.
