Content Contribution, Moderation & Approval (CMAP) Policy – National Power Training Institute (NPTI) Website
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all information published on the NPTI website is accurate, authentic, consistent, and in line with Government of India guidelines.
1. Content Contribution
- Each department, division, or training center of NPTI is responsible for contributing content relevant to its activities, training programs, notifications, publications, and events.
- Contributions may include:
- Circulars, notices, and announcements
- Training schedules, course information, and academic materials
- Press releases, publications, and reports
- Policies, guidelines, and achievements
- Content must be submitted in a standardized format (Word/PDF/HTML) as prescribed by the Web Information Manager (WIM).
- Contributors must ensure that the information is factually correct, complete, and up to date at the time of submission.
2. Content Moderation
- All content submitted will undergo moderation by the Web Information Manager (WIM) or an authorized editorial team.
- Moderation will ensure:
- Accuracy: Verification of facts, figures, and dates.
- Relevance: Ensuring content serves the needs of trainees, stakeholders, and the general public.
- Clarity: Ensuring readability and language consistency.
- Compliance: Alignment with GoI guidelines on accessibility, security, and website standards.
- Any content not meeting standards will be returned to the concerned department for corrections.
3. Content Approval
- The Director General, NPTI, or an officer designated by him, will provide the final approval for publishing content on the website.
- Approved content will be uploaded only by authorized website administrators to ensure security and integrity.
- No content will go live on the website without approval.
4. Roles & Responsibilities
- Content Contributors (Departments/Divisions): Provide updated, correct, and verified information.
- Web Information Manager (WIM): Moderate, review, and ensure compliance with standards before forwarding for approval.
- Approving Authority (Director General/Authorized Officer): Give final clearance for publishing.
- Technical Team (Website Administrators): Upload content after approval and ensure technical accuracy of presentation.
5. Content Lifecycle Management
- New content will be reviewed for approval within 5 working days of submission.
- Expired or irrelevant content will be removed or archived as per the Content Archival Policy (CAP).
- A record of approved and rejected content will be maintained by the WIM for audit and accountability.
6. Policy Review & Compliance
- The CMAP policy will be reviewed annually to incorporate changes in organizational structure, policies, or government guidelines.
- Any violations of this policy will be reported to the Director General, NPTI, for necessary action.
