Pedagogy
Class room lectures, seminars, case studies, group discussions, role plays, group works, summer project at organizations related to electricity business will be resorted to impart knowledge and skills to the students. In addition visits to power stations, Transmission and Distribution facilities, manufacturers' works shall be organized to ensure that the students have the real 'feel' of the power sector.
Program Structure
This is a two-year program spread over four Semesters. In the first year, the students take courses in major functional / general management areas like Human Resources, Operations, Finance & Accounting, Marketing, Information Technology and core Power Sector areas. In the second year, the students take compulsory specialized courses in the area of Power and Management. In addition they have to opt from a list of electives covering various specific courses from the areas of Power and Management.
Summer Project
Students are required to undertake 6 to 8 weeks Summer Training Projects in a Company/ Organization related to Consultancies, Power and associated industries after completion of First Year. A Compulsory Major Project also needs to be carried out in the IV Semester concurrently with the subjects. Evaluation will again be based on submission of written Project Reports and a defense presentation.

The reservation of seats is as per the Reservation Policy of the Central Government and is subject to any change/amendment by the Central Govt. from time to time
Eligibility for Admission
All candidates (excluding sponsored category) must have valid CAT/GMAT/CUET/XAT/CMAT/MAT Score card or should have appeared for NAT(NPTI Admission Test).
The candidates (including sponsored category) who have obtained 60% marks in Graduate degree recognized as equivalent thereof by JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad are eligible to apply for admission to the course.
Note: Candidates appearing in the final year/ semester Examination can also apply.
Candidates called for GD & PI should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria and merely being called for GD & PI does not entitle them for admission.
Graduates sponsored by various Central Public Sector Undertakings, Private Power Companies, State Electricity Boards/ Power Utilities and allied energy sectors who meet the above eligibility conditions are eligible for admission to this Course. The Candidates should bring with them the proof of their sponsorship. NAT (NPTI Admission Test) or CAT/GMAT/CUET/XAT/CMAT/MAT valid score card is not a requirement for these Sponsored Category students.
