NPTI(SR), Neyveli conducts One year PGDC in Power Engineering (Summer & Winter) and year PDC in Power Plant Engineering and One year PGDC in Renewable Energy & Grid Integration Technologies. Apart from long term courses, this Institute conducts various short term courses and long term courses as per need of power utilities as On-site as well as Off-site program. Specialised courses on Power Plant, Cyber security, Smart grid Technologies, Advanced Power system Protection and Electrical Safety for Mines being conducted for Executives of Central Coal Limited. Trained more than 300 Executives of DISCOM from Puducherry, Tamilnadu, Andrapradesh Electricity Board. NPTI(SR), Neyveli also conducts need based /tailor oriented programs in EV, Storage Technologies and Renewable Energy & Grid Integration area also 25 days internship training program for the Tamil nadu Govt polytechnic students is being conducted and trained around 900 students as on now. Online internship program on power plant familiarisation is being conducted for Engineering students and trained around 500 students so far.
