HOI Message HLTC

Uninterrupted Power is one of the Primary Aims & Objectives envisaged by the Government of India under its Indian Electricity Act 2003. The Hot Line Training Centre at Bengaluru, India takes pride for being an important factor for this cause. In order to ensure Uninterrupted Power, the Hot Line Training Centre (HLTC) conducts several Training Programmes in Campus and Onsite for the Power Transmission Sector Personnel.
Experienced in-house Faculty and Staff impart thorough training on Live-Line Repair and Maintenance up to 400KV. HLTC has Switchyard, Transmission Towers and Power Lines for practising Repair and Maintenance Procedures on 11KV, 33KV, 66KV, 110kV,220KV and 400KV.
This Training Centre has state of the art Tools, Vehicles, Equipment, Faculty and Support Staff and conducts various Training Programs like Live Line Maintenance Techniques (LLMT) using Hot Stick Method up to 220KV, Bare Hands Method up to 400KV, Switchyard Maintenance using LLMT, Live Line Punctured Insulator Detection, Capsule Course for Executives, Live Line Insulator Washing Program Onsite. In addition to practice in our Training Field, the Trainees used to be trained in Commercial Transmission Lines of KPTCL, and PGCIL.
Since the in campus programs are Residential nature, HLTC has a Trainees Hostel, Canteen and Other Facilities to accommodate about 50 Trainees in a Batch. HLTC has trained about 6500 Power Transmission Personnel including a few Foreign Nationals.
HLTC heartily welcomes the Transmission Utilities to utilize our facility and contribute for Nation Building.
