On behalf of National Power Training Institute, Kerala I am very much delighted to share the facilities and achievements of this Institute which started functioning in  September 2020.Our Green Campus is Located in God’s own land locked by a backwater in Kerala State Industrial Centre, Alappuzha, Cherthala (in the mid of Cochin and Alappuzha ) with all state of art infrastructure like Multi-scope simulator, Renewable Energy & grid Integration Simulator, fully air-conditioned classrooms and auditorium. The 15-acre lush green campus has a Guest house, officers/ staffs quarters, an Executive Hostel, a a Boys / Girls Hostel with a mess facility, a  grid-connected SPV (10 kW), an incinerator plant, ovation pond balancing the ecosystem. 
NPTI, Kerala is conducting one year Post Diploma course in Power Engineering and in addition to this the short-term course in Transformers, Substations, SCADA & WAN, Safety, T & D, and sponsored programs under RDSS, Hydro Power, Northeastern Region Power System Improvement Program (NERSIP), etc. Since I took the charge as Head of Institute in December 2022, the Institute has trained more than 800 Engineers in the FY 2022-23 and FY 2023-24 with considerable rise in the income from training courses. NPTI Kerala also conducts yoga, training in boat house as per the need of the sponsoring organisation. Amid the technically rich faculty from NPTI, KSEB, NLC, BEE the learning environment gives a soothing approach to the inner soul and our trainees give a high grade in the feedback. The nearby plants on solar PV, floating solar, Wind Power and hybrid power, SCADA, GIS visits give a fiesta for the trainees.
