  • Safety aspects during welding and cutting personal and equipments
  • Understanding process of  welding and types of welding process, weld symbols, principle of arc welding, solid state welding and gas welding process, understanding of preheating,  interpass, post heating
  • Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) process. Process principle, welding machines and equipments used, joint design, classification and selection of electrodes, understanding of welding parameters
  • Practical (demonstration and hands on) on Arc Welding - SMAW weld deposition beads on plate
  • Practical (demonstration and hands on) on Arc Welding - SMAW Fillet Weld in Flat Position
  • High Pressure TIG Welding, Process Principle, welding power sources and equipments used, joint design, understanding of welding parameters, shielding gases used and its roles
  • Practical (demonstration and hands on)  on TIG Welding
