Kolkata - National Power Training Institute (NPTI) and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) both under Ministry of Power, Govt. of India organized National Retailer Training Program on "Standards and Labeling" on 16thJanuary 2017 at The Gateway Hotel, Kolkata. The program was inaugurated by Prof (Dr.) R.K. Pandey, Director General , NPTI , Ministry of Power, Govt. of India .
The program was started with traditional process of Lighting of Lamp by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries on the dias. Sh. Atish Banerjee, Director delivered welcome address. Sh. D Pandit , Dy. Director presented overview of the program. Speakers were Sh. Manjeet Singh , Project Engineer, BEE, Ms. Meenakshi, Project Engineer, BEE and Sh. Kamal Nasir, Dy. Director , NPTI. Mrs A. Indira, Asstt. Director anchored the Program. Program ended with Vote of Thanks offered by Sh. S.K. Srivastava, Dy. Director and Nodal Officer of this Program.
Program was attended by 175 delegates from Retailers like LG Electronics, Havells , Carrier, Hitachi, Voltas, Samsung, Bharat Bijlee , L&T , Big-Bazar, Reliance digital, Daikin India, Blue star , Crompton Greaves , Elmech, Kirloskar etc.
